I felt the same way. I only e-mailed my now husband to shut my friend up. We e-mailed each other for 3 months. I was never planning to call him but again my friend wouldn't stop so I called. We haven't been apart since. But I was 16 and it was 13 years ago so maybe it's different now.

online dating can be very dangerous but that doesnt mean you cant find your true love. of course i have my share of disappointment before i finally found that wonderful man in my life. married to him for 3 years now. i have a check list to keep myself on the ground and not carry away with my feelings. i will be extra careful when the person 1)start asking money because whatever sad emergency reason the first 1 yr 2)Ask you to send nude pictures 3) Doesnt pick up your calls on certain time or only call you on certain time 4)Tell you how much he loves you on the first month 5) said he send some package for you but u need to pay some amount to retrieve the package because it go hold in airport and postal service or whatever service. (this one definitely a scam)

I found my husband online but that was over 10 years ago. I would be very leery to do online dating nowadays. Now there are plenty of really great guys on the online places but as always - be careful and stay safe!

my daughters met their husbands online.. My oldest one was married for 9 years, but her husband passed away last year.. They have 3 kids. My youngest is married for 9 years now also. They have 2 kids.
