  • Epic Fail USPS!

So it actually snowed here in El Paso Monday afternoon/night and was super cold and slushy on Tuesday. The post man brought two packages to my door Monday (in the snow might I add) and I didn't go to the mailbox Mon. or Tues. Wed. my hubby checked the mail and there was a package claim slip in there. The postman came to the door monday and I was...

home ALL day Tuesday....no post man. So, I'm thinking "it's a little odd that the guy didn't attempt to bring this package to my door but put a slip in the box instead". The only thing it could be is a handmade mobile my father-in-law made to go in my baby's nursery and I'd be REALLy upset if something happened to it. I think the postman was just lazy...

and didn't feel like carrying a big huge box up to my door in the cold. I got dressed and went to the post office and they didn't have mypackage...They sent me to the postmaster who also didn't have my package and sent me back to my post office again. They checked and STILL couldn't find it. So yesterday I got tired of playing games and called the 1-800-ASKUSPS...

line and filed a complaint. 6:45 last night I get a call from my post office that the package has been mysteriously found. What a coincidence that it turned up after I filed a formal complaint. GRRRR!!!! Guess I'll be going to the post office a little later to pick it up. Hope they haven't lost it again by then..

  • So I went to pick up the package and now I'm even more mad...it was my Indie Lee samples. They're in a tiny little box. If the mail man can leave all the other boxes that have come to my house for the past year and a half on my doorstep, there's NO excuse why he couldn't leave a little tiny sqaure box there. Not like it required a signature or anything...

special. UGH! But, now that leaves the question of "where is my father-in-law's mobile?". He sent it a week ago. Hope it comes today!

Uggg. Can't beleive he couldn't put it in the mailbox and caused all that wasted time for you! We have a sub mailperson that gets our mail mixed up and sometimes just flys right down the road...like there would have to be 10 houses with NO mail for that to happen.

I'd be mad, but like Lashgirl said, I think they do get wiped out too.

Ugh I hate it when that happens. I think some offices and employees do get wiped out by al the holiday deliveries and mess things iup because of it. C'mon USPS, rain, sleet, or snow can't stop you....why laziness?? LOL
