I think within those 18 years you have had the chance to grow with him and have been through quite a bit together. After all of that bonding and shared experiences and perhaps support it is understandable that you would feel more love or at least a different kind of love for your husband. Congratulations on 18 years and good luck in the future! I hope to have that one day. :)

I feel the same way about my husband we have been together for 15 years. When your with someone for years your love does change, it grows because the two people grow and learn together. So I now just how you feel. You have to be with someone for a long time to understand not just a few months.
