  • Now that's a bag, Baby!

    I'm putting together what I call a care package on steroids for a friend who's having her first baby, and would love suggestions from the crowd for what to fill it with.
    What were the products, for moms or babies, that you truly appreciated and loved?  Have you caught wind of any new and cool items on the market?

  • I filled up the baby bag and my friend really used the things in there! Some of it was for her (mini-fan, water bottle) and some for baby (aspirator, swaddle blankets, fuzzy blankets). Most of all, she just loved that somebody took the time to think about what would make her life easier with a new baby!!

    We found something called the Itzbeen timer. It keeps track of the last time baby was fed, changed, etc. Super helfpul!!!

    Wipes! I always found having clothes pins because then i could create instant amusement for baby to look up at something moving around.

    pee-pee teepee!!! (if its a boy) they are little covers for boys so they dont go EVERYWHERE!!! :)

    As much as i would love to recommend something i find that people are going to buy what they feel is the best regardless of how much you love a product that can make their lives easier it feel that they know more than you this is from personal experience so we simply give money towards the baby's future.

    So I've never had a baby, but I have been to plenty of baby showers. "Mama Mio" has a lot of wonderful products for moms-to-be.
