On the Road to Home
I am traveling with my parents, taking them back to where both they were born and I was born. It's a "last visit" and I drove them 1600 miles - and it will be 1600 miles back to where we all live now. I love my parents, they are wonderful people, this is a good visit and I know it will produce many great memories. Is it odd that at times I just...want to scream or tell my mother to just "be quiet!"?

Thanks everyone - good to know others understand! One more day in home town and then, deep breath, ready for 4 days on the road home. I'm hoping that there will be times of quiet on the trip home - I'm looking forward to a slower, more relaxed trip home than the push to get here. It HAS been wonderful to watch my parents visit with their brothers and...
sisters, plus my sister and daughter flew in so we have made many great memories!
