    My son woke up with a snotty nose. I believe he got it from one of the kids from Thanksgiving that was sick. I will never understand WHY people bring sick kids around other kids!!!

    Yeah you cant help it sometimes. As a mother you need to take your child with you when other options arent available

    sometimes you just have no choice. what if need or have to go somewhere where there are kids and you have no one to babysit your child??? Maybe i'm used to it because my 3 year is in school and i know he's going to get sick if one of his classmates gets sick.

    Colds are just one of those nuisances that can't be helped. Now if a kid is running a temp and has vomiting definitely the child should stay home but otherwise colds are what they are and just part of growing up.

    I think it's the all out of options thing. I don't think parents are maniacal enough to plot infecting other children. But I do hate it when a child is sneezing and coughing all over the place and the parents just sit there and laugh. At least keep your child's germs somewhat controlled.
